Friday, November 20th
This was the day we were not looking forward to. It was the day we were to bury our mother. The day was very blustery and very cold. The drizzle kept us indoors at the reception area before going out to the graveyard. Then Pastor Jerry Elwell led us in a sweet service of committal in a small chapel because the grave site was so cold and rainy. The Lord allowed us to have this extended time to visit and then to worship indoors before going out to actually come face to face with the reality of seeing Mom's casket and take it to its resting place.
Here are a few photos from outdoors, after the service.

thanks for posting these beautiful photos, Jane. I have been memorizing a portion of Romans 8 and think about verse 13 and your mother, "for I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed to us."
