Mom has always wanted to look her best, and for years has had her hair done on a weekly basis. The past two weeks she has not been able to have her hair curled, and I know it bothers her. Tonight I tried calling her around 9 PM, and she answered! Praise God! She was cheerful and I could understand her frail, weak voice a little better. She was responsive and we had a nice visit. I asked if she'd like me to bring my curling iron when I come to see her this weekend, and she really was happy about that. So, we will try some curls! Anything to cheer and encourage. But, I will NOT make her sleep on pincurls like she used to do to me when I was a little girl! Such memories....
